Judge me, O God, and plead my case against an ungodly nation. Rescue me from deceitful and unjust people.

You destroy those who tell lies. The Lord is disgusted with bloodthirsty and deceitful people.

Strangers have attacked me. Ruthless people seek my life. They do not think about God. Selah

Let an assembly of people gather around you. Take your seat high above them.

The Lord judges the people of the world. Judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, according to my integrity.

Let the evil within wicked people come to an end, but make the righteous person secure, O righteous God who examines thoughts and emotions.

My God, free me from the hands of a wicked person, from the grasp of one who is cruel and unjust.

God alone is the judge. He punishes one person and rewards another.

because the Lord will plead their case and will take the lives of those who rob them.

because the one who is responsible for them is strong. He will plead their case against you.

I have sinned against the Lord. So I will endure his fury until he takes up my cause and wins my case. He will bring me into the light, and I will see his victory.

I have a clear conscience, but that doesn’t mean I have God’s approval. It is the Lord who cross-examines me.

Christ never verbally abused those who verbally abused him. When he suffered, he didn’t make any threats but left everything to the one who judges fairly.

So the Lord must be the judge. He will decide between you and me. He will watch and take my side in ⌞this⌟ matter and set me free from you.”
