How often are they like straw in the wind or like husks that the storm sweeps away?

Wicked people are not like that. Instead, they are like husks that the wind blows away.

Indeed, all our days slip away because of your fury. We live out our years like one ⌞long⌟ sigh.

Faith led Moses to establish the Passover and spread the blood ⌞on the doorposts⌟ so that the destroying angel would not kill the firstborn sons.
