Love the Lord, all you godly ones! The Lord protects faithful people, but he pays back in full those who act arrogantly.

Everything that you have made will give thanks to you, O Lord, and your faithful ones will praise you.

The Lord protects everyone who loves him, but he will destroy all wicked people.

Make music to praise the Lord, you faithful people who belong to him. Remember his holiness by giving thanks.

Fear the Lord, you holy people who belong to him. Those who fear him are never in need.

My enemies spy on me. Pay them back with evil. Destroy them with your truth!

God is terrifying in the council of the holy ones. He is greater and more awe-inspiring than those who surround him.

Arise, O Judge of the earth. Give arrogant people what they deserve.

Let those who love the Lord hate evil. The one who guards the lives of his godly ones will rescue them from the power of wicked people.

I thought that in the prime of my life I would go down to the gates of Sheol and be robbed of the rest of my life.

And ⌞I will remember⌟ the foreigners who have joined the Lord to worship him, to love the Lord’s name, and to be his servants. All of them will keep the day of rest—a holy day, from becoming unholy and will faithfully observe the conditions of my promise.

Israel, what does the Lord your God want you to do? He wants you to fear him, follow all his directions, love him, and worship him with all your heart and with all your soul.

This is what I’m commanding you today: Love the Lord your God, follow his directions, and obey his commands, laws, and rules. Then you will live, your population will increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land that you’re about to enter and take possession of.

I will sharpen my flashing sword and take justice into my own hands. Then I will take revenge on my enemies and pay back those who hate me.

You certainly love your people. All your holy ones are in your hands. They bow at your feet to receive your instructions.

Now then, brothers and sisters, because of the Lord Jesus we ask and encourage you to excel in living a God-pleasing life even more than you already do. Do this the way we taught you.

From Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and brother of James. To those who have been called, who are loved by God the Father, and who are kept safe for Jesus Christ.

Do to her what she has done. Give her twice as much as she gave. Serve her a drink in her own cup twice as large as the drink she served others.

He safeguards the steps of his faithful ones, but wicked people are silenced in darkness because humans cannot succeed by their own strength.
