Turn your ear toward me. Rescue me quickly. Be a rock of refuge for me, a strong fortress to save me.

Turn your ear ⌞toward me⌟, O Lord. Answer me, because I am oppressed and needy.

The Lord has become my stronghold. My God has become my rock of refuge.

You, O Lord, are my refuge! You have made the Most High your home.

O Lord, you have been our refuge throughout every generation.

O God, the nations have invaded the land that belongs to you. They have dishonored your holy temple. They have left Jerusalem in ruins.

I am in trouble, so do not hide your face from me. Answer me quickly!

My salvation and my glory depend on God. God is the rock of my strength, my refuge.

But I am oppressed and needy. May the Lord think of me. You are my help and my savior. O my God, do not delay!

Why don’t you forgive my disobedience and take away my sin? Soon I’ll lie down in the dust. Then you will search for me, but I’ll be gone!”

my God, my rock in whom I take refuge, my shield, the strength of my salvation, my stronghold, my refuge, and my Savior who saved me from violence.

Like a lion they will tear me to pieces and drag me off with no one to rescue me.

I trust you, O my God. Do not let me be put to shame. Do not let my enemies triumph over me.
