Make music to praise the Lord, you faithful people who belong to him. Remember his holiness by giving thanks.

David appointed some Levites to serve in front of the Lord’s ark by offering prayers, thanks, and praise to the Lord God of Israel.

He sent his message and healed them. He rescued them from the grave.

Clothe your priests with righteousness. Let your godly ones sing with joy.

He has given his people a strong leader, someone praiseworthy for his faithful ones, for the people of Israel, the people who are close to him. Hallelujah!

O Lord, I call to you. O my rock, do not turn a deaf ear to me. If you remain silent, I will be like those who go into the pit.

Be glad and find joy in the Lord, you righteous people. Sing with joy, all whose motives are decent.
