My life is exhausted from sorrow, my years from groaning. My strength staggers under ⌞the weight of⌟ my guilt, and my bones waste away.

Blow them away like smoke. Let wicked people melt in God’s presence like wax next to a fire.

I can count all my bones. People stare. They gloat over me.

“Now my life is pouring out of me. Days of suffering seize me.

So he prayed very hard in anguish. His sweat became like drops of blood falling to the ground.

Then he said to them, “My anguish is so great that I feel as if I’m dying. Wait here, and stay awake with me.”

People ridiculed me with their mouths. They slapped my cheeks with contempt. They united against me.

They open their big mouths and say about me, “Aha! Aha! Our own eyes have seen it.”
