He shot his arrows and scattered them. He flashed streaks of lightning and threw them into confusion.

It is followed by the roar of his voice. He thunders with his majestic voice. He doesn’t hold the lightning back when his thunder is heard.

God’s voice thunders in miraculous ways. It does great things that we cannot understand.

Can you send lightning flashes so that they may go and say to you, ‘Here we are’?

because the arrows of the Almighty ⌞have found their target⌟ in me, and my spirit is drinking their poison. God’s terrors line up in battle against me.

Hurl bolts of lightning, and scatter them. Shoot your arrows, and throw them into confusion.

They turn their backs ⌞and flee⌟ because you aim your bow at their faces.

The voice of the Lord rolls over the water. The God of glory thunders. The Lord shouts over raging water.

The voice of the Lord strikes with flashes of lightning.

The clouds poured out water. The sky thundered. Even your arrows flashed in every direction.

The sound of your thunder rumbled in the sky. Streaks of lightning lit up the world. The earth trembled and shook.

The Lord will make his majestic voice heard. He will come down with all his might, with furious anger, with fire storms, windstorms, rainstorms, and hailstones.

The Lord shouts out orders to his army. His forces are very large. The troops that carry out his commands are mighty. The day of the Lord is extremely terrifying. Who can endure it?

The sun and the moon stand still. They scatter at the light of your arrows, at the bright lightning of your spear.

The God who brought them out of Egypt has the strength of a wild bull. He will devour nations that are his enemies, crush their bones, and pierce them with arrows.

I will bring one disaster after another on them. I will use up all my arrows on them.

My arrows will drip with blood from those who were killed and taken captive. My sword will cut off the heads of the enemy who vowed to fight.

The Lord threw the enemy into disorder in front of Israel and defeated them decisively at Gibeon. He chased them along the road that goes to the slope of Beth Horon and continued to defeat them all the way to Azekah and Makkedah.

“Those who oppose the Lord are broken into pieces. He thunders at them from the heavens. The Lord judges the ends of the earth. He gives strength to his King and lifts the head of his Messiah.”
