Let the verdict of my innocence come directly from you. Let your eyes observe what is fair.
But the Lord will not abandon him to the wicked person’s power or condemn him when he is brought to trial.
He will make your righteousness shine like a light, your just cause like the noonday sun.
“But you say, ‘The Lord’s way is unfair.’ Listen, nation of Israel, isn’t my way fair? Isn’t it your ways that are unfair?
“But the nation of Israel says, ‘The Lord’s way is unfair.’ Isn’t my way fair, nation of Israel? Isn’t it your ways that are unfair?
“But your people say, ‘The Lord’s way is unfair.’ Yet, their ways are unfair.
Yet, the people of Israel say, ‘The Lord’s way is unfair.’ I will judge each of you by your own ways, people of Israel.”
God can guard you so that you don’t fall and so that you can be full of joy as you stand in his glorious presence without fault.
