Let me hear about your mercy in the morning, because I trust you. Let me know the way that I should go, because I long for you.

This is what the Lord, your Defender, the Holy One of Israel, says: I am the Lord your God. I teach you what is best for you. I lead you where you should go.

God is in that city. It cannot fall. God will help it at the break of dawn.

⌞The Lord says,⌟ “I will instruct you. I will teach you the way that you should go. I will advise you as my eyes watch over you.

You will hear a voice behind you saying, “This is the way. Follow it, whether it turns to the right or to the left.”

But I will sing about your strength. In the morning I will joyfully sing about your mercy. You have been my stronghold and a place of safety in times of trouble.

Teach me to do your will, because you are my God. May your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

Teach me your way, O Lord. Lead me on a level path because I have enemies who spy on me.

Satisfy us every morning with your mercy so that we may sing joyfully and rejoice all our days.

Let us raise our hearts and hands to God in heaven.

Give me joy, O Lord, because I lift my soul to you.

His anger lasts only a moment. His favor lasts a lifetime. Weeping may last for the night, but there is a song of joy in the morning.

Help me understand so that I can follow your teachings. I will guard them with all my heart.

Your hands created me and made me what I am. Help me understand so that I may learn your commandments.

The Lord commands his mercy during the day, and at night his song is with me— a prayer to the God of my life.

O Lord, lead me in your righteousness because of those who spy on me. Make your way in front of me smooth.

Let’s learn about the Lord. Let’s get to know the Lord. He will come to us as sure as the morning comes. He will come to us like the autumn rains and the spring rains that water the ground.

“Will the citizens of Keilah hand me and my men over to Saul?” David asked. “They will hand you over,” the Lord answered.

Protect my life, and rescue me! Do not let me be put to shame. I have taken refuge in you.
