O Lord, remember David and all the hardships he endured.

God remembered Noah and all the wild and domestic animals with him in the ship. So God made a wind blow over the earth, and the water started to go down.

When I was in trouble, I cried out to the Lord, and he answered me.

I look up toward the mountains. Where can I find help?

I was glad when they said to me, “Let’s go to the house of the Lord.”

I look up to you, to the one who sits enthroned in heaven.

O Lord, out of the depths I call to you.

O Lord, my heart is not conceited. My eyes do not look down on others. I am not involved in things too big or too difficult for me.

Look at my misery and suffering, and forgive all my sins.

God heard their groaning, and he remembered his promise  to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Remember my suffering and my ⌞aimless⌟ wandering, the wormwood and poison.

“Remember, O Lord, what has happened to us. Take a look at our disgrace!
