One deep sea calls to another at the roar of your waterspouts. All the whitecaps on your waves have swept over me.

You have made me endure many terrible troubles. You restore me to life again. You bring me back from the depths of the earth.

During his life on earth, Jesus prayed to God, who could save him from death. He prayed and pleaded with loud crying and tears, and he was heard because of his devotion to God.
