Treat me with kindness, and teach me your laws.

You gave them your good Spirit to teach them. You didn’t keep your manna to yourself. You gave them water to quench their thirst.

He has not treated us as we deserve for our sins or paid us back for our wrongs.

Thanks be to you, O Lord. Teach me your laws.

Turn toward me, and have pity on me as you have pledged to do for those who love your name.

I told you what I have done, and you answered me. Teach me your laws.

Let your blessings reach me, O Lord. Save me as you promised.

Give me a new life through your mercy so that I may obey the written instructions, ⌞which came⌟ from your mouth.

O Israel, put your hope in the Lord, because with the Lord there is mercy and with him there is unlimited forgiveness.

You hide them in the secret place of your presence from those who scheme against them. You keep them in a shelter, safe from quarrelsome tongues.

Have pity on me, O God, in keeping with your mercy. In keeping with your unlimited compassion, wipe out my rebellious acts.

May my prayer come to you at an acceptable time, O Lord. O God, out of the greatness of your mercy, answer me with the truth of your salvation.

Answer me, O Lord, because your mercy is good. Out of your unlimited compassion, turn to me.

Do not hold the crimes of our ancestors against us. Reach out to us soon with your compassion, because we are helpless.

Open your ears and listen, my God. Open your eyes and look at our ruins and at the city called by your name. We are not requesting this from you because we are righteous, but because you are very compassionate.
