They hurt his feet with shackles, and cut into his neck with an iron collar.

So Joseph’s master arrested him and put him in the same prison where the king’s prisoners were kept. While Joseph was in prison,

I was kidnapped from the land of the Hebrews, and even here I’ve done nothing to deserve being put in this prison.”

Those who lived in the dark, in death’s shadow were prisoners in misery. They were held in iron chains

So the jailer followed these orders and put Paul and Silas into solitary confinement with their feet in leg irons.
