He is like a tree planted beside streams— a tree that produces fruit in season and whose leaves do not wither. He succeeds in everything he does.

The warden paid no attention to anything under Joseph’s care because the Lord was with Joseph and made whatever he did successful.

He will be like a tree that is planted by water. It will send its roots down to a stream. It will not be afraid in the heat of summer. Its leaves will turn green. It will not be anxious during droughts. It will not stop producing fruit.

It was planted in good soil beside plenty of water so that it could grow branches, bear fruit, and become a wonderful vine.’

Your mother was like a grapevine that was planted near water. It had a lot of fruit and many branches because there was plenty of water.

That is why it grew taller than all the other trees in the field. Its branches became large and long because of so much water.

All kinds of fruit trees will grow on both sides of the river. Their leaves won’t wither, and they won’t fail to produce fruit. Each month they will produce fresh fruit because this water flows from the holy place. The fruit will be good food, and the leaves will be used for healing.”

Your tents spread out like rivers, like gardens by a river, like aloes planted by the Lord, like cedars by the water.

When he saw a fig tree by the road, he went up to the tree and found nothing on it but leaves. He said to the tree, “May fruit never grow on you again!” At once the fig tree dried up.

“When the grapes were getting ripe, he sent his servants to the workers to collect his share of the produce.

They answered, “He will destroy those evil people. Then he will lease the vineyard to other workers who will give him his share of the produce when it is ready.”

Whoever doesn’t live in me is thrown away like a branch and dries up. Branches like this are gathered, thrown into a fire, and burned.

The Lord will bless your barns and everything you do. The Lord your God will bless you in the land that he is giving you.

These people are a disgrace at the special meals you share with other believers. They eat with you and don’t feel ashamed. They are shepherds who care ⌞only⌟ for themselves. They are dry clouds blown around by the winds. They are withered, uprooted trees without any fruit. As a result, they have died twice.

Between the street of the city and the river there was a tree of life visible from both sides. It produced 12 kinds of fruit. Each month had its own fruit. The leaves of the tree will heal the nations.
