A lazy person does not plow in the fall. He looks for something in the harvest but finds nothing.

Whoever is lazy in his work is related to a vandal.

The path of lazy people is like a thorny hedge, but the road of decent people is an ⌞open⌟ highway.

It does no good to spread a net within the sight of any bird.

Oxen know their owners, and donkeys know where their masters feed them. But Israel doesn’t know ⌞its owner⌟. My people don’t understand ⌞who feeds them⌟.

My son, listen, be wise, and keep your mind going in the right direction.

Four things on earth are small, yet they are very wise:

Even storks know when it’s time to return. Mourning doves, swallows, and cranes know when it’s time to migrate. But my people don’t know that I, the Lord, am urging them to return.

Lazy hands bring poverty, but hard-working hands bring riches.
