A certain kind of person curses his father and does not bless his mother.

The lamp of the person who curses his father and mother will be snuffed out in total darkness.

The children or grandchildren of a widow must first learn to respect their own family by repaying their parents. This is pleasing in God’s sight.

If anyone doesn’t take care of his own relatives, especially his immediate family, he has denied the Christian faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

However, you are chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, people who belong to God. You were chosen to tell about the excellent qualities of God, who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
