A greedy person stirs up a fight, but whoever trusts the Lord prospers.

“All of God’s word has proven to be true. He is a shield to those who come to him for protection.

It’s good to hold on to the one and not let go of the other, because the one who fears God will be able to avoid both extremes.

Whom did you dread and fear so much that you lied to me? You haven’t remembered me or cared about me. I’ve been silent for a long time. Is that why you don’t fear me?

Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He sent his angel and saved his servants, who trusted him. They disobeyed the king and risked their lives so that they would not have to honor or worship any god except their own God.

Through him you believe in God who brought Christ back to life and gave him glory. So your faith and confidence are in God.
