Whoever works his land will have plenty to eat. Whoever chases unrealistic dreams will have plenty of nothing.

Whoever works his land will have plenty to eat, but the one who chases unrealistic dreams has no sense.

Whoever walks with wise people will be wise, but whoever associates with fools will suffer.

Where there are no cattle, the feeding trough is empty, but the strength of an ox produces plentiful harvests.

Do not love sleep or you will end up poor. Keep your eyes open, and you will have plenty to eat.

Then your poverty will come like a drifter, and your need will come like a bandit.
