When you find honey, eat only as much as you need. Otherwise, you will have too much and vomit.

You will vomit the little bit you have eaten and spoil your pleasant conversation.

Do not set foot in your neighbor’s house too often. Otherwise, he will see too much of you and hate you.

Eating too much honey is not good, and searching for honor is not honorable.

Don’t be too virtuous, and don’t be too wise. Why make yourself miserable?

He will eat cheese and honey until he knows how to reject evil and choose good.

That person will eat cheese, because they will produce so much milk. Everyone who is left in the land will eat cheese and honey.

Don’t get drunk on wine, which leads to wild living. Instead, be filled with the Spirit
