I reprimanded the nobles of Judah and asked them, “What is this evil thing you’re doing? How dare you treat the day of rest—a holy day, as unholy!

Be ready to spread the word whether or not the time is right. Point out errors, warn people, and encourage them. Be very patient when you teach.

That statement is true. For this reason, sharply correct believers so that they continue to have faith that is alive and well.

Tell these things to the believers. Encourage and correct them, using your full authority. Don’t let anyone ignore you.

I told him that I would hand down a permanent judgment against his household because he knew about his sons’ sin—that they were cursing God  —but he didn’t try to stop them.
