Buy truth (and do not sell it), ⌞that is,⌟ buy wisdom, discipline, and understanding.

I love your commandments more than gold, more than pure gold.

The teachings ⌞that come⌟ from your mouth are worth more to me than thousands in gold or silver.

I find joy in the way ⌞shown by⌟ your written instructions more than I find joy in all kinds of riches.

They are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold. They are sweeter than honey, even the drippings from a honeycomb.

if indeed you call out for insight, if you ask aloud for understanding,

I love those who love me. Those eagerly looking for me will find me.

The beginning of wisdom is to acquire wisdom. Acquire understanding with all that you have.
