Good people leave an inheritance to their grandchildren, but the wealth of sinners is stored away for a righteous person.

So never let your daughters marry their sons or your sons marry their daughters, and never seek peace or trade with them. Then you will be strong, be able to eat the good things the land produces, and be able to give this land as a long-lasting inheritance to your children.’

Whoever becomes wealthy through ⌞unfair⌟ loans and interest collects them for the one who is kind to the poor.

God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to anyone who pleases him. But to the person who continues to sin, he gives the job of gathering and collecting ⌞wealth⌟. The sinner must turn his wealth over to the person who pleases God. Even this is pointless. ⌞It’s like⌟ trying to catch the wind.
