All goes well for the person who is generous and lends willingly. He earns an honest living.

Wisdom finds rest in the heart of an understanding person. Even fools recognize this.

The tongues of wise people give good expression to knowledge, but the mouths of fools pour out a flood of stupidity.

A fool does not find joy in understanding but only in expressing his own opinion.

An arrogant, conceited person is called a mocker. His arrogance knows no limits.

A fool starts out by talking foolishness and ends up saying crazy things that are dangerous.

Even when a fool goes walking, he has no sense and shows everyone else that he’s a fool.

My servant will be successful. He will be respected, praised, and highly honored.

“I’m sending you out like sheep among wolves. So be as cunning as snakes but as innocent as doves.

Everyone has heard about your obedience and this makes me happy for you. I want you to do what is good and to avoid what is evil.

You shouldn’t take this worthless person Nabal seriously. He is like his name. His name is Nabal [Godless Fool], and he’s foolish. But I didn’t see the young men you sent.
