The Lord guards you from every evil. He guards your life.

No harm will come to you. No sickness will come near your house.

They will eat the fruit of their lifestyle. They will be stuffed with their own schemes.

But whoever listens to me will live without worry and will be free from the dread of disaster.”

Certainly, an evil person will not go unpunished, but the descendants of righteous people will escape.

Deceit is in the heart of those who plan evil, but joy belongs to those who advise peace.

A heart that turns ⌞from God⌟ becomes bored with its own ways, but a good person is satisfied with God’s ways.

The fear of the Lord leads to life, and such a person will rest easy without suffering harm.

It’s good to hold on to the one and not let go of the other, because the one who fears God will be able to avoid both extremes.

Whoever obeys his commands will avoid trouble. The mind of a wise person will know the right time and the right way ⌞to act⌟.

You are filled with disgrace rather than glory. Drink! Yes you! And expose yourself as godless. The cup in the Lord’s right hand will come around to you, and disgrace will cover your glory.

We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God—those whom he has called according to his plan.

Our suffering is light and temporary and is producing for us an eternal glory that is greater than anything we can imagine.

Who will harm you if you are devoted to doing what is good?

Do to her what she has done. Give her twice as much as she gave. Serve her a drink in her own cup twice as large as the drink she served others.
