“These are your instructions for when a person dies in a tent: Everyone who goes into the tent and everyone who is in the tent will be unclean for seven days.

The people of Israel will be burying them there for seven months to make the land clean.

After a priest is made clean, he must wait seven days.

“These are the instructions for any kind of mildew or fungus

“These are the instructions for any man who has a discharge or an emission of semen that makes him unclean,

The Lord spoke to Moses, “Tell the priests, Aaron’s sons: None of you should become unclean by touching one of your relatives who has died.

He must never go near any dead bodies or become unclean, even for his father or mother.

Whoever touches the dead body of a human being and doesn’t use this water to take away his sin makes the Lord’s tent unclean. That person must be excluded from Israel, because the water that takes away uncleanness wasn’t sprinkled on him. He is unclean; his uncleanness stays with him.

Every container without a lid fastened on it is unclean.

Do the same for all the clothes and everything made of leather, goats’ hair, or wood.”

“Command the Israelites to send outside the camp anyone who has a serious skin disease or a discharge or anyone who is unclean  from touching a dead body.

While they are dedicated to the Lord as Nazirites, they must never go near a dead body.

“Someone might suddenly drop dead next to a Nazirite and make the Nazirite’s hair unclean. Seven days later he must shave his head in order to be declared clean.

But there were some men who had become unclean  from touching a dead body, and they couldn’t celebrate the Passover that day. They came to Moses and Aaron
