Passing through Fountain Gate, I arrived at King’s Pool, but the animal I was riding couldn’t get through.

He also made repairs on the wall of the Pool of Shelah by the King’s Garden as far as the stairs going down from the City of David.

After him Nehemiah, Azbuk’s son, the official in charge of half the district of Beth Zur, made repairs all the way to a point across from the tombs of David as far as the pool and the soldiers’ barracks.
