“If you forgive the failures of others, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
Be kind to each other, sympathetic, forgiving each other as God has forgiven you through Christ.
Whenever you pray, forgive anything you have against anyone. Then your Father in heaven will forgive your failures.”
Put up with each other, and forgive each other if anyone has a complaint. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Otherwise, you will be judged by the same standard you use to judge others. The standards you use for others will be applied to you.
No mercy will be shown to those who show no mercy to others. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
Whoever shuts his ear to the cry of the poor will call and not be answered.
Forgive us as we forgive others.
This is the way God’s children are distinguished from the devil’s children. Everyone who doesn’t do what is right or love other believers isn’t God’s child.
Blessed are those who show mercy. They will be treated mercifully.
