They hurried away from the tomb with fear and great joy and ran to tell his disciples.
Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Then go quickly, and tell his disciples that he has been brought back to life. He’s going ahead of them into Galilee. There they will see him. Take note that I have told you.”
Suddenly, Jesus met them and greeted them. They went up to him, bowed down to worship him, and took hold of his feet.
They went out of the tomb and ran away. Shock and trembling had overwhelmed them. They didn’t say a thing to anyone, because they were afraid.
I can guarantee this truth: You will cry because you are sad, but the world will be happy. You will feel pain, but your pain will turn to happiness.
“Now you’re in a painful situation. But I will see you again. Then you will be happy, and no one will take that happiness away from you.
