The crowd told them to be quiet. But they shouted even louder, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”

But he did not answer her at all. Then his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her away. She keeps shouting behind us.”

Then some people brought little children to Jesus to have him bless them and pray for them. But the disciples told the people not to do that.

Two blind men were sitting by the road. When they heard that Jesus was passing by, they shouted, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”

Jesus stopped and called them. “What do you want me to do for you?” he asked.

When Jesus left that place, two blind men followed him. They shouted, “Have mercy on us, Son of David.”

The people at the front of the crowd told the blind man to be quiet. But he shouted even louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

Keep praying. Pay attention when you offer prayers of thanksgiving.

Never stop praying.
