Jesus’ appearance changed in front of them. His face became as bright as the sun and his clothes as white as light.

You cover yourself with light as though it were a robe. You stretch out the heavens as though they were curtains.

Who is this young woman? She looks like the dawn. She is beautiful like the moon, pure like the sun, awe-inspiring like those heavenly bodies.

After six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John (the brother of James) and led them up a high mountain where they could be alone.

Suddenly, Moses and Elijah appeared to them and were talking with Jesus.

He was as bright as lightning, and his clothes were as white as snow.

His clothes became dazzling white, whiter than anyone on earth could bleach them.

While Jesus was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes became dazzling white.

The Word became human and lived among us. We saw his glory. It was the glory that the Father shares with his only Son, a glory full of kindness  and truth.

“Father, I want those you have given to me to be with me, to be where I am. I want them to see my glory, which you gave me because you loved me before the world was made.

Don’t become like the people of this world. Instead, change the way you think. Then you will always be able to determine what God really wants—what is good, pleasing, and perfect.

I saw another powerful angel come down from heaven. He was dressed in a cloud, and there was a rainbow over his head. His face was like the sun, and his feet were like columns of fire.

I saw a large, white throne and the one who was sitting on it. The earth and the sky fled from his presence, but no place was found for them.
