He stretches out the heavens by himself and walks on the waves of the sea.

You lay the beams of your home in the water. You use the clouds for your chariot. You move on the wings of the wind.

You realize that if a homeowner had known at what time of the night a thief was coming, he would have stayed awake. He would not have let the thief break into his house.

Therefore, be alert, because you don’t know when the owner of the house will return. It could be in the evening or at midnight or at dawn or in the morning.

Jesus saw that they were in a lot of trouble as they rowed, because they were going against the wind. Between three and six o’clock in the morning, he came to them. He was walking on the sea. He wanted to pass by them.

They will be blessed if he comes in the middle of the night or toward morning and finds them awake.

After they had rowed three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea. He was coming near the boat, and they became terrified.

He held a small, opened scroll in his hand. He set his right foot on the sea and his left on the land.

The angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven.

The voice which I had heard from heaven spoke to me again. It said, “Take the opened scroll from the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.”
