Let both grow together until the harvest. When the grain is cut, I will tell the workers to gather the weeds first and tie them in bundles to be burned. But I’ll have them bring the wheat into my barn.’ ”

The sins of some people are obvious, going ahead of them to judgment. The sins of others follow them there.

Therefore, don’t judge anything before the appointed time. Wait until the Lord comes. He will also bring to light what is hidden in the dark and reveal people’s motives. Then each person will receive praise from God.

Whoever doesn’t live in me is thrown away like a branch and dries up. Branches like this are gathered, thrown into a fire, and burned.

That time will be like harvesting bundles of grain by the armful. It will be like gathering grain in the Rephaim Valley.

But while people were asleep, his enemy planted weeds in the wheat field and went away.

“He replied, ‘No. If you pull out the weeds, you may pull out the wheat with them.

Can you rely on it to bring your grain back and take it to your threshing floor?
