However, the Lord struck Pharaoh and his household with terrible plagues because of Sarai, Abram’s wife.

While the meat was still in their mouths—before they had even had a chance to chew it—the Lord became angry with the people and struck them with a severe plague.

He knew about this, so he left that place. Many people followed him, and he cured all of them.

When Jesus got out of the boat, he saw a large crowd. He felt sorry for them and cured their sick people.

They begged him to let them touch just the edge of his clothes. Everyone who touched his clothes was made well.

Jesus went all over Galilee. He taught in the synagogues and spread the Good News of the kingdom. He also cured every disease and sickness among the people.

Jesus told her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace! Be cured from your illness.”

Whenever he would go into villages, cities, or farms, people would put their sick in the marketplaces. They begged him to let them touch the edge of his clothes. Everyone who touched his clothes was made well.

As they came to Bethsaida, some people brought a blind man to Jesus. They begged Jesus to touch him.

So Jesus got into the boat that belonged to Simon and asked him to push off a little from the shore. Then Jesus sat down and taught the crowd from the boat.

The entire crowd was trying to touch him because power was coming from him and curing all of them.

There a Roman army officer’s valuable slave was sick and near death.

At that time Jesus was curing many people who had diseases, sicknesses, and evil spirits. Also, he was giving back sight to many who were blind.

As a result, people carried their sick into the streets. They placed them on stretchers and cots so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some sick people as he went by.

The Lord disciplines everyone he loves. He severely disciplines everyone he accepts as his child.”
