Mark 15:34

At three o’clock Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?”

My God, my God, why have you abandoned me? Why are you so far away from helping me, so far away from the words of my groaning?

Do not hide your face from me. Do not angrily turn me away. You have been my help. Do not leave me! Do not abandon me, O God, my savior!

I will ask God, my rock, “Why have you forgotten me? Why must I walk around in mourning while the enemy oppresses me?”

They say, “God has abandoned him. Pursue him and grab him because there is no one to rescue him.”

While I was praying, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the first vision, came to me about the time of the evening sacrifice. He was exhausted.

At noon darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon.

About three o’clock Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?”

It was nine in the morning when they crucified him.

When some of the people standing there heard him say that, they said, “Listen! He’s calling Elijah.”

Around noon darkness came over the entire land and lasted until three in the afternoon.

Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I entrust my spirit.” After he said this, he died.

One day, about three in the afternoon, he had a vision. He clearly saw an angel from God come to him and say, “Cornelius!”

During his life on earth, Jesus prayed to God, who could save him from death. He prayed and pleaded with loud crying and tears, and he was heard because of his devotion to God.
