Jesus went all over Galilee. He taught in the synagogues and spread the Good News of the kingdom. He also cured every disease and sickness among the people.

But Jesus told him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”

My son was dead and has come back to life. He was lost but has been found.’ Then they began to celebrate.

If I spread the Good News, I have nothing to brag about because I have an obligation to do this. How horrible it will be for me if I don’t spread the Good News!

You were once dead because of your failures and sins.

We were dead because of our failures, but he made us alive together with Christ. (It is God’s kindness  that saved you.)

But the widow who lives for pleasure is dead although she is still alive.

Be ready to spread the word whether or not the time is right. Point out errors, warn people, and encourage them. Be very patient when you teach.

But you must keep a clear head in everything. Endure suffering. Do the work of a missionary. Devote yourself completely to your work.

“To the messenger of the church in Sardis, write: The one who has God’s seven spirits and the seven stars says: I know what you have done. You are known for being alive, but you are dead.
