“Whoever isn’t with me is against me. Whoever doesn’t gather with me scatters.

When they came to Capernaum, the collectors of the temple tax came to Peter. They asked him, “Doesn’t your teacher pay the temple tax?”

“From other people,” Peter answered. Jesus said to him, “Then the family members are exempt.

John said to Jesus, “Teacher, we saw someone forcing demons out of a person by using the power and authority of your name. We tried to stop him because he was not one of us.”

I can guarantee this truth: Whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because you belong to Christ will certainly not lose his reward.”

“Whoever isn’t with me is against me. Whoever doesn’t gather with me scatters.

“A servant cannot serve two masters. He will hate the first master and love the second, or he will be devoted to the first and despise the second. You cannot serve God and wealth.”

So I want you to know that no one speaking by God’s Spirit says, “Jesus is cursed.” No one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

The men believed the evidence they were shown, but they did not ask the Lord about it.
