“Tell us, are you the Messiah?” Jesus said to them, “If I tell you, you won’t believe me.

Jeremiah answered Zedekiah, “If I answer you, you’ll kill me. If I give you advice, you won’t listen to me.”

“Abraham answered him, ‘If they won’t listen to Moses’ ⌞Teachings⌟ and the Prophets, they won’t be persuaded even if someone comes back to life.’ ”

And if I ask you, you won’t answer.

The chief priest questioned Jesus about his disciples and his teachings.

Why do you question me? Question those who heard what I said to them. They know what I’ve said.”
