Wounds made by a friend are intended to help, but an enemy’s kisses are too much to bear.
While he was still speaking to the disciples, a crowd arrived. The man called Judas, one of the twelve apostles, was leading them. He came close to Jesus to kiss him.
The men who were with Jesus saw what was going to happen. So they asked him, “Lord, should we use our swords to fight?”
