They were also responsible for the rows of bread, the flour for the grain offerings, the unleavened bread wafers, and the bread made in frying pans. In addition, they were responsible for mixing the ingredients and keeping track of all weights and measures.

Mattithiah, a Levite, the firstborn son of Shallum, Korah’s descendant, was entrusted with preparing the flat bread.

“If any of these creatures falls into a piece of pottery, break the pottery because everything in it is unclean.

When a man who has a discharge touches pottery, it must be broken, and any wooden bucket he touches must be rinsed.

If your grain offering is prepared in a frying pan, it, too, will be unleavened bread made of flour mixed with olive oil.

Aaron’s son who is anointed to take his place as priest will prepare it. This is a permanent law of the Lord: It must be completely burned.

If you offer it as a thank offering, you must also bring rings of unleavened bread mixed with olive oil, wafers of unleavened bread brushed with olive oil, and loaves made from flour mixed well with olive oil.

Every grain offering, whether baked in an oven or prepared in a skillet or a frying pan, belongs to the priest who offers it.
