Now I’m thinking of building a temple for the name of the Lord my God as the Lord spoke to my father David: ‘Your son, whom I will put on your throne to succeed you, will build a temple for my name.’

In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will live securely. Jerusalem will be called The Lord Our Righteousness.

Then people will know that I am the Lord, when I make the land a barren wasteland because of all the disgusting things that they have done.’

“Obey my laws. Never crossbreed different kinds of animals. Never plant two kinds of crops in your field. Never wear clothes made from two kinds of material.

“Obey all my laws and all my rules, and live by them. I am the Lord.”

The land will give you its products, and you will eat all you want and live there securely.

But you will cross the Jordan River and settle in the land the Lord your God is giving you as your own property. He will give you peace from all your enemies around you so that you will live securely.

About the tribe of Benjamin he said, “The Lord’s beloved people will live securely with him. The Lord will shelter them all day long, since he, too, lives on the mountain slopes.”

So Israel will live securely. Jacob’s spring will be ⌞left⌟ alone in a land of grain and new wine. Dew will drip from Israel’s skies.
