The Lord spoke to Moses,
“For the lighting, you must command the Israelites to bring you pure, virgin olive oil so that the lamps won’t go out.
So Moses told the Israelites about the Lord’s appointed festivals.
“Command the Israelites to bring you pure, virgin olive oil for the lamp stand so that the lamps won’t go out.
“Eleazar, son of the priest Aaron, will be in charge of the oil for the lamps, the sweet-smelling incense, the daily grain offering, and the anointing oil. He is in charge of the whole tent and everything in it, the holy place and its contents.”
“Speak to Aaron and tell him: When you set up the seven lamps on the lamp stand, they should light up the area in front of it.”
