Since the Lord had said he was not going to wipe out Israel’s name completely, he saved them through Jeroboam, son of Jehoash.

The highest heaven belongs to the Lord, but he has given the earth to the descendants of Adam.

You covered yourself with anger and pursued us. You killed without pity.

However, they have rejected what is good. The enemy will persecute them.

So when the Lord your God gives you peace from all your enemies around you in the land that he is giving you as your own property, don’t forget to erase every memory of the Amalekites from the earth.

The Lord will never be willing to forgive that person, because the Lord’s burning anger will smolder against him. All the curses described in this book will happen to him. The Lord will erase ⌞every memory of⌟ that person’s name from the earth.

He will hand their kings over to you, and no one on earth will even remember their names. No one will be able to stop you. You will destroy them all.
