Judah also captured Gaza, Ashkelon, and Ekron with their territories.

He left the five rulers of the Philistines, all the Canaanites, the Sidonians, and the Hivites who lived on Mount Lebanon from Mount Baal Hermon to the border of Hamath.

The Philistine army’s champion came out of their camp. His name was Goliath from Gath. He was ten feet tall.

After the Philistines had captured the ark of God, they brought it from Ebenezer to Ashdod.
