This crowd is cursed because it doesn’t know Moses’ Teachings.”
So hear the Lord’s word, you foolish talkers who rule the people in Jerusalem.
How horrible it will be for those who think they are wise and consider themselves to be clever.
They said, “Stay away! Don’t touch me! I’m holier than you are.” They have become like smoke in my nose, like a smoldering fire all day long.
Has any ruler or any Pharisee believed in him?
One of those Pharisees was Nicodemus, who had previously visited Jesus. Nicodemus asked them,
The Jews answered him, “You were born full of sin. Do you think you can teach us?” Then they threw him out ⌞of the synagogue⌟.
Some Pharisees who were with Jesus heard this. So they asked him, “Do you think we’re blind?”
