The people left the city and went to meet Jesus.
“Who are these people that fly by like clouds, like doves to their nests?
“In this way the last will be first, and the first will be last.”
“Come with me, and meet a man who told me everything I’ve ever done. Could he be the Messiah?”
Meanwhile, the disciples were urging him, “Rabbi, have something to eat.”
Many Samaritans in that city believed in Jesus because of the woman who said, “He told me everything I’ve ever done.”
So I sent for you immediately. Thank you for coming. All of us are here now in the presence of God to listen to everything the Lord has ordered you to say.”
As Paul and Barnabas were leaving the synagogue, the people invited them to speak on the same subject the next day of rest—a holy day.
“You need to know that God has sent his salvation to people who are not Jews. They will listen.”
The laws in Moses’ Teachings were added to increase the failure. But where sin increased, God’s kindness increased even more.
