The disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It’s the Lord.” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put back on the clothes that he had taken off and jumped into the sea.

The Lord is responsible for this, and it is amazing for us to see.

Raging water cannot extinguish love, and rivers will never wash it away. If a man exchanged all his family’s wealth for love, people would utterly despise him.

If anyone asks you what you are doing, say that the Lord needs it. That person will send it here at once.”

One disciple, the one whom Jesus loved, was near him at the table.

Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing there. He said to his mother, “Look, here’s your son!”

So she ran to Simon Peter and the other disciple, whom Jesus loved. She told them, “They have removed the Lord from the tomb, and we don’t know where they’ve put him.”

When he said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples were glad to see the Lord.

Thomas responded to Jesus, “My Lord and my God!”

Peter turned around and saw the disciple whom Jesus loved. That disciple was following them. He was the one who leaned against Jesus’ chest at the supper and asked, “Lord, who is going to betray you?”

This disciple was an eyewitness of these things and wrote them down. We know that what he says is true.

The other disciples came with the boat and dragged the net full of fish. They weren’t far from the shore, only about 100 yards.

God sent his word to the people of Israel and brought them the Good News of peace through Jesus Christ. This Jesus Christ is everyone’s Lord.

“All the people of Israel should know beyond a doubt that God made Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”

The first man was made from the dust of the earth. He came from the earth. The second man came from heaven.

Clearly, Christ’s love guides us. We are convinced of the fact that one man has died for all people. Therefore, all people have died.

My brothers and sisters, practice your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ by not favoring one person over another.
