We wear ourselves out doing physical labor. When people verbally abuse us, we bless them. When people persecute us, we endure it.

We’re persecuted, but we’re not abandoned. We’re captured, but we’re not killed.

who killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and who have persecuted us severely. They are displeasing to God. They are enemies of the whole human race

Those who try to live a godly life because they believe in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.

The Lord told Samuel, “Listen to everything the people are saying to you. They haven’t rejected you; they’ve rejected me.
