Like a proud, ferocious lion you hunt me down. You keep working your miracles against me.

“My eye has certainly seen all of this! My ear has heard and understood it.

“Open your ears to this, Job. Stop and consider God’s miracles.

Do you know how the clouds drift (these are the miracles of the one who knows everything),

God’s voice thunders in miraculous ways. It does great things that we cannot understand.

“⌞You said,⌟ ‘Who is this that belittles my advice without having any knowledge ⌞about it⌟?’ Yes, I have stated things I didn’t understand, things too mysterious for me to know.

He does great things that are unsearchable and miracles that cannot be numbered.

If I try to count them, there would be more of them than there are grains of sand. When I wake up, I am still with you.

The Lord is great, and he should be highly praised. His greatness is unsearchable.

You have done many miraculous things, O Lord my God. You have made many wonderful plans for us. No one compares to you! I will tell others about your miracles, which are more than I can count.

You were not pleased with sacrifices and offerings. You have dug out two ears for me. You did not ask for burnt offerings or sacrifices for sin.

Thank the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does miracles.

Indeed, you are great, a worker of miracles. You alone are God.

It is beautiful how God has done everything at the right time. He has put a sense of eternity in people’s minds. Yet, mortals still can’t grasp what God is doing from the beginning to the end ⌞of time⌟.

Don’t you know? Haven’t you heard? The eternal God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn’t grow tired or become weary. His understanding is beyond reach.

God’s riches, wisdom, and knowledge are so deep that it is impossible to explain his decisions or to understand his ways.
