I wish you would keep silent. For you, that would be wisdom.

“Job’s friends have been overwhelmed and don’t have any more answers. They don’t have another word to say.

“I’ll give my answer. I’ll tell you what I know.

Even a stubborn fool is thought to be wise if he keeps silent. He is considered intelligent if he keeps his lips sealed.

That is why a wise person remains silent at such times, because those times are so evil.

Remember this, my dear brothers and sisters: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and should not get angry easily.
