The Lord asked Satan, “Have you thought about my servant Job? No one in the world is like him! He is a man of integrity: He is decent, he fears God, and he stays away from evil. And he still holds on to his principles. You’re trying to provoke me into ruining him for no reason.”

The purpose of these troubles is to test your faith as fire tests how genuine gold is. Your faith is more precious than gold, and by passing the test, it gives praise, glory, and honor to God. This will happen when Jesus Christ appears again.

Blessed are those who endure when they are tested. When they pass the test, they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

The highway of decent people turns away from evil. Whoever watches his way preserves his own life.

He would knock me down with a storm and bruise me without a reason.

Righteousness protects the honest way of life, but wickedness ruins a sacrifice for sin.

A righteous person is rescued from trouble, and a wicked person takes his place.

You defend my integrity, and you set me in your presence forever.

Notice the innocent person, and look at the decent person, because the peacemaker has a future.

If God would kill me, I would have no hope ⌞left⌟. Nevertheless, I will defend my behavior to his face.

If I am righteous, my own mouth would condemn me. It would declare that I am corrupt even if I am a man of integrity.

But now stretch out your hand, and strike everything he has. I bet he’ll curse you to your face.”

This is the account of Noah and his descendants. Noah had God’s approval and was a man of integrity among the people of his time. He walked with God.
